ObsRO are ratings provided by an observer such as a parent, teacher, or caregiver. They’re useful when children are too young to self-report or the construct requires adult observation (e.g., sustained attention in class).
In Puppet Interview studies, ObsRO can complement child PRO to triangulate findings. Keep instruments short and specific to reduce burden and improve reliability.
