Glossary Term

Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO)

Data directly reported by a patient about their own health condition without interpretation by clinicians.

PRO are outcomes reported directly by the child, without interpretation by adults. With age-appropriate formats like BPI or CHAT-E, even early elementary students can self-report feelings and behaviors.

Our app supports PRO through dichotomous items, audio, and visual supports. Use ObsRO when proxy perspectives are required.
